This apartment complex is a joke!

I moved out here for Sacramento, CA. Everyone I talked to told me that the area out here called Oak Park is a really nice place. This is funny to me because, in Sacramento Oak Park is the name of the ghetto area. Well, Oak Park Village reminds me of that place in Sacramento.

I feel bad for all the people that don??t take the time to really look at the apartment complex before they move in. There is always trash everywhere, probably because you had to walk so far to get to the damn trash cans. And when you got there they were always full. Our walls were so thin it was like having the neighbor??s bedroom in our living room. Oh and what kind of apartment has the front door in the dinning room. The air-conditioning unit was always clogged and leaking and it made really loud noises. The noise got so bad it sounded like the unit was going to blow up. Mold started to grow in the closet the unit was in. When we called them about it they brushed it off saying that all of them are like that and there wasn??t anything they can do about it. Oh and somehow a chipmunk got stuck in the wall and made really loud noises. It took them almost a week for the maintenance crew to come out and find it in the wall. By the time they got it out it was dead and it smelt really bad.

When our lease was up and we moved out, they did a walk through and said that there wasn??t any damage that we would have to pay for. But yet they kept our deposit and charged us more than we were supposed to pay. They also charge you for the water and sewer but they never had to pay for it them selves. They said that we would be getting that money back when we moved out but then turn around and denied ever saying that.
