Recently we moved out of the Pointe and were forced to pay $3200 for moving out of our lease 2 months early. The ladies at the front desk have no education and were telling us it would be two months worth of rent. They added another month's rent, and then came back and said we owed them another $500. The management is extremely rude. They have a alot of small moveout charges and have no one to explain them all. Three months after moving out, we were still receiving a small gas bill we never even set up when we moved in. They took our SS# and set up the account, the reason we know this is our name is spelled wrong! They are nice apartments, but not for the area, price and hassle! Other residents there were complaining of similar occurences w/ mgmt. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV

Interesting. I haven't moved out yet, just entered into my 2nd year. I hope that I don't find any hidden move out charges when I do. I haven't had any problems with management. When you moved in, you did sign that you would set up a gas account and keep it active. If you didn't, then they would do it. So, yea, that is what they did that.

As the Manager I can clear all this up. As far as the move out charges, the penalty for breaking you lease is a term fee equal to 1 months rent and a pay back of all the concessions (your move-in special rate) that you receive when you move-in. In addition, you must give a 30 day notice and pay the rent for those 30 days. This person obviously didnt understand that because its in her lease. Second, when they moved out, they didnt cancel the gas service therefore they continued to be billed thru Atmos. This office could not have opened an account in her name. Its impossible to do so. When she came into the office an demanded that the complex "take care of the bill" it was explained that she needed to contact Atmos and they would reverse the bill to the complex. She was not satisfied with this..thus the posting.

I do not believe anything the "manager" says. She is as shady as the owner and also INCREDIBLY RUDE.
