I never had any really complaints concerning the apartment itself, but dealing with the manager was a different story.

This person is not concerned about her tenants and keeping them happy. This isn't an experience shared only by my roommate and me but by other neighbors as well.

Beware...if you have the patience and know-how to deal with management who will try to double cross you, then this is an adequate place to live. But, for the money, there are so many other better options out there.

I agree, I live here too. This post is the most accurate. Although I do have complaints with my unit. Among other major complaints, the most important and on-going one that is refused to be acknowledged is that my utlities are MORE THAN THREE times higher than the average rates I was quoted when moving in, up to and including that the comparison charts on the utility companies' websites inform me that my rates are ONE HUNDRED PERCENT HIGHER than similar homes in my area. Before this apartment, I had a place more twice as large and one additional roomate and my utilities were NO WHERE NEAR as high as they are here. I've had to sell some of my furniture and television and other household things to be able to afford my utilities here. On the bright side, by the time my lease is up I will have no furniture left to have to pay to have moved. My beds are next for sale. Thanks a lot Point West!

Now called The Dunes @ City Center???These are crappy apartments that have been under at least 2 different companies since we moved in but they kept same god awful staff... One of the office (property) managers (Anjie) is extremely rude and just ignorant of the whole complex and occurrences of situation with her staff & our apartment??? Rude and WT all around maintenance staff when we have maintenance requests. Huge potholes took forever to be fixed. Our room was freezing all winter due to a drafty window that they refused to fix/replace just cover with plastic still didn???t help ($100 power bill 1br apartment). But they have been improving how the place looks but it???s just for show can???t keep resident trying to pull new in all the time. Might Help to GET ALL NEW MANAGEMENT in the office and new maintenance staff that won???t fight out side apartment yelling at the live in girlfriends. How about some maintenance guy I might trust to be in my apartment that won???t steal ADD meds or $ lying around??? We have thought about calling Management but have noticed they are all friends and well what we have to say really doesn???t matter.
