Not the worst place ever...

I have to say this about Rosehill Pointe: it's probably the best apartment I've lived in. Having said that, though, I haven't had the best track record of apartments.
Honestly, the apartment itself wasn't that bad. The previous tenants had childredn who'd spilled paint on the carpeting in some places, and I'm not sure why they didn't replace the carpeting instead of just cleaning it like they did, but I was certain, during the initial walk-through, to point out every single yellow, blue, and red splotch. They were pretty light, and I just put different pieces of furniture on the ones nearer the walls...
The maintenance here is FANTASTIC, and I never had a problem with maintenance taking a long time or feeling like I wasn't getting the attention I needed and deserved. Parking was decent, although, the later you got home (a problem for me since I worked evenings), the further away you'd end up having to park. This was annoying since most of the covered parking was not utilized. Nevertheless, I know you can rent those spots, so...
The biggest downfall of Rosehill Pointe is actually the management. If you don't have to deal with them that much for larger issues, then you won't ever care. But I had to go in and speak with management a couple of times, and it was so horrible. They lost my rent once. The friend I was rooming with still lives there and they lost his rent again recently. When he presented money order stubs and receipts, the response that the OFFICE MANAGER gave him was, "Your rent is your responsibility until we have it in our hands." He tried to explain that he can do NOTHING to protect his rent once it's in the drop box, and the office manager still insisted it was his responsibility. When I was there and they lost my rent THAT time, they were entirely unhelpful and refused to do anything to assist in securing a replacement check. I did TONS of running back and forth, had to get statements notarized and everything. Even once the mess was cleaned up, the office management still did not accept responsibility or apologize to me in anyway...even though they did not charge me late fees. Not only that, but the ladies up front seem to change almost bi-monthly, so it's hard to even be recognized in that place.
The laundry rooms are blah, and the dryers? Yeah...they couldn't dry one damp towel through two cycles. Ha!
Nevertheless, I love the area, my apartment wasn't horrible, and most of my neighbors were very pleasant. Like I said, this wasn't the best apartment in the history of the world, but it definitely wasn't anywhere near the worst...
