Rosehill Pointe

So my wife and I moved into this place 2 years ago, and had no problems at first. Our first apartment was a one bedroom on the 2nd floor. This is where we had no issues. Last year we moved into a 2 bedroom 2 bath and have had problems. The lack of insulation really stands out in this apartment, making us turn the heat up to 80. However, after 15 minutes of blowing warm air, the heater changes and starts blowing out cold air.

Other than that, we have 3 hills in the apartment... Literally! The master bedroom slopes about 1 foot away from the entrance to the bathroom, the 2nd bedroom has a hill right after you enter the room, and the living room has a slope about a foot away from the fireplace. The fireplace; what a wonderful thing. However, the hearth is so heavy that it is pulling away from the wall, leaving a 2 inch gap deeming it unsafe to use.

Let me see.... What else? The eyes on the stove don't fit, meaning that anything with liquid should be cooked in a crock pot. Say you are making peas in some sort of a broth (for example) the eyes are so crooked that the half of the pot leaning towards the floor will be fine, while the other half will burn due to lack of liquid. Back to the fireplace... We had a notice that they were going to clean the chimney a couple months ago. We still haven't seen, or heard from them.

The hot tub? It was not working for about a year, and when it does work, it is crammed into a little tiny room within the office area and gets overheated. However, since the hot tub and the gym are located in the office area, they both close when the office closes. For people like me, I work before the office opens and don't get off until after the office closes, so I can't take advantage of these amenities.

I think that is enough for now. But needless to say, we will not renew our lease.
