Disrespectful Managment

The management puts on a very nice facade when you are willing to sign a year contract.

After they have your money, they will ignore you.

Once you become frustrated enough to leave, they find any reason to keep/charge any $$ they can.

I am joining the armed forces to serve my country and support the family that has fought before me.

These ignorant pooh-heads do not want to give my security deposit back.

It was close to $400, which is a lot to a single girl living on her own.

I understand not everyone respects my decision to join the military, however there is a law in place (Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of 2003) that clearly states this is a misdemeamor.

They completely ignored the letter from my recuiter (a Staff Seargant) requesting the deposit be returned, the copy of my contract, and a copy of the Act.

Instead Gina decided to contact the Trails "lawyer".

She did not bother contacting the district office, or Sentinel who owns the apartment complex.

I'm not sure if she actually contacted this "lawyer" b/c he allegedly advised her to keep the deposit although it is against the law.

I want to make clear I am not vacating the apartment, my roommate is staying and therefore they will receive full rent until the lease is up in October.

What is $400 to them'' NOTHING, they are choosing to be disrespectful and condescending.

I want to warn anyone who is thinking about renting @ The Trails.

BE ADVISED, THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!
