Great until time to renew

I lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years. I had no complaints until it was time to renew. I was always a great tenant and always paid on time. When my lease came up there was many problems. First of all they gave me an increase, when they were practically giving my apartment away for free to new residents. I had called to speak with the leasing agent who was dealing with my papers (I think her name was Monica) and she was not in. I left a message. Never heard back. So I called back and finally got her. She spoke to me like I was a 3 year and was very rude the whole conversation. I did not feel comfortable renewing somewhere when I didn't even feel important as a tenant. So I gave notice and am very happy with the place I chose. If they want people to renew they really need to work on how they talk and treat people. I was a tenant not her little brother.
