Don't let the pictures fool you. This place is a hole. When I moved in, the carpet was in horrible shape with a bright green stain in the middle of my living room. Since then, whenever maintenance comes they do a minimal job and leave a big mess to clean up. Last summer, they started renovating the entire complex. They scraped all of the exterior paint, etc. and made all the preparations and told us to move all of our things off the balconies because they would be painting soon. They painted a few of the buildings in the front that new renters will see. However, its now almost April and most buildings have yet to receive a coat of paint. I had a friend who was visiting for the first time turn around and leave my parking lot because the buildings looked so bad he thought he had entered a different complex. Staff and management are not friendly and treat you like a child. Once you're tied into your lease, they don't care if you're happy. The price may be reasonable but ITS NOT WORTH IT.

Please come visit Chesapeake Estates!! The buildings are all being painted now. When starting this project, bad weather set in, once it started to become nice out, work began again to make Chesapeake a nicer to place.

Water leaks a BIG problem for me. Happened twice while I was there. Not only did it take forever for them to come fix the problem, but their remedy for the water damage was a mere coat of paint. MOLD must love it at Chesapeake.
