Do not live at Chesapeake Estates. They might seem like a good deal but you definatly get what you pay for. The walls are paper thin and I could hear every word my neighbors said. They had small children who cried all night and I eventually moved my bed to the living room just to get some sleep. If anyone around you smokes it will filter into your apartment via the vents and it makes your apartment smell like a bar. I had to make 3 maintenance requestes just to fix a small problem. They started painting the apartments and then didn't finish so it looks like crap. The lighting around the buildings is poor and I didn't feel safe at night outside. I complained to management about the noise and they did nothing and practically came out and called me a liar. Things got so bad that I threatened to get a lawyer involved if they did not terminate my lease early.

So did they let you terminate early with the threat of a lawyer?
