Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I lived in Wind River Lodge for a year. It was my first apartment and therefore I was taken advantage of by the leasing agents.
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone, especially if you have children, for the following reasons:
1. My apt. was located near the back of the property meaning all day and all night long I heard the highway. It was terrible, it took me FOREVER to fall asleep at night.
2. The people are SO trashy! They smoke in the apartment hallways. They leave their trash in hall ways. They let their dogs poop all over the place without cleaning it up. I honestly believe that if they people were not so nasty it would be an ok place to live.
3. For some reason there were ALWAYS police around the propety. Sometimes they were there for a reason but most of the time they were just lurking around as if they were waiting for something to happen.
4. Rent Price: For what you're getting you can pay MUCH less in Olathe for MUCH nicer apartments. If I had been more experienced I would have know that.
