I rented a one bedroom here for a year and was not very pleased. It was fine at first, but I believe the management changed. I was told that the room was non smoking, but the people before me definitely smoked, and my things that I stored in my closet reeked of it. I had to deal with cockroaches quite a bit, too. The instance that made me hate Woodridge was when I called them, complaining that my drawers in the bathroom had fallen off (the front part was glued on). They took a few days getting back to me (I understand that it wasn't an emergency), and promised that it would be done the following Monday. That didn't happen... So I emailed them, and on about Thursday I came home at midnight to an unlocked door and 3 of my lights on. I am a young, single woman, so I always lock my door and I always turn my lights off. I was nervous, so I checked all of my closets, then went into the bathroom, where I saw a clipboard. The maintenance man had left it there, with my name, number, address, and complaint, along with everyone else's information that had filed a request to maintenance. Plus, he hadn't even touched the drawers that needed to be fixed. I was furious... My apartment had been unlocked for anywhere from 6 to 14 hours while I had been at work all day. I contacted management, who claimed that the maintanence person was new, and they promised that my problem would be fixed the following day (which it wasn't-- I had to wait another week). I wrote an email to the property manager, but never got an apology or anything back (no one every apologized. They didn't seem to care). I would not recommend Woodridge to anyone. Management does not care about it's tennants, and it takes forever for maintanence to fix anything. There is enough parking, but the lots are not well-lit at all.

Woodridge blows. I rented there in 2003 and when I moved in I had noted several key issues that needed repair on the move in check list. When I decided to vacate the apartment 9 months later, under the advice of the KS Attorney Generals office, due to a breach of contract by Woodridge, Laramar (the parent company) tried to sue me for $2700. The apartments, management (if that b**ch Elizabeth is still there) are all way below par in my opinion. If I was you, and they left my apt open all day, I think my 60" Panasonic LCD would come up missing......

This place does blow. I used to be employed here and thought it awful the lack of concern management had for it's employees and more importantly, the residents. During my time here, I did everything I could within my ability to help them but upper management doesn't care at all. I am well aware of this women and remember when she called me and told me that her apartment had been left unlock. I informed my manager and she told me that she didn't care. She should be grateful no one broke in! More importantly, these apartments are run down. They show you a nice model apartment but truth be told, most of them have leaks and mold growing and many residents were soo unhappy, that they just skipped out. Believe me, if this is your last resort, GO LIVE IN A SHELTER.
