TERRIBLE!

I rented a nice space with 3 other friends. The rent was reasonable and it was a great location, but that was where the good things ended.

At move-in, we had a 3-page list of all the things wrong with the apartment including filthy appliances, disgusting bathrooms, corroded fixtures and general maintenance things that had fallen behind.

We had several issues with the fridge resulting in it finally quitting all together - at which point it took them MORE THAN 2 WEEKS to replace it! Their solution: "Just put all your food in coolers." And, no, they didn't pay for anything.

We had a maintenance guy let himself into our apartment at 1:30 a.m. while everyone was sleeping with no identification what-so-ever.

You hear everything. Inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs, next door, Snyder Family Stadium...and that fraternity over the fence.

The smell from the K-State cows blows straight to the complex.

At move-out, we were charged nearly $200 for "two dirty bathtubs and a dirty toilet." My roommates and I kept one of the cleanest apartments in the complex and can guarantee you that these things were spotless when we moved out. That "dirty" toilet was actually the toilet seat which had had cracked and chipped paint since move-in.

In general, maintenance was terrible. Whenever we put in a work order, it was always slow having it addressed, and the maintenance crew was always very rude. They would even track dirt across the carpet, or remove everything from our fridge/cabinets and leave it strewn about when they were finished.

Customer service was awful. The property manager is rude, and the staff follows suit.

I wouldn't do it again. Nor would I recommend First Management properties to anyone. I've recently leased a new place with MDI in Manhattan and love them! It's worth paying a little extra (or even a little less in my case) and going somewhere else!
