Disappointed with manager who does not enforce their own rules. Upstairs neighbor put us through hell with their noise, slamming cabinets, running in the apartment, cleaning past 10PM, letting heavy things drop to the ground as they vacuum, harrasing us after the office contacted them on the issue, the list goes on. I have a young child who cannot take naps and wakes up startled because the walls tremble. Poorly designed buildings or nasty neighbors..you decide. Manager afraid to address the issue.. her solution was offering people upstairs gum-like protectors for the kitchen cabinet doors. Trash by dumpdters builds up and is laying on the ground all the time.Extremely dissappointed. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai

I'm the one that posted the 11/17/2008 review for Highland Ridge and I have been keeping up to date with the other reviews. I just wanted you to know that we have the exact same problem with inconsiderate neighbors. The ones upstairs walk around with heavy feet, drop things (I swear there are WWE wrestling matches upstairs), and keep their screaming 1-3 year old kids up past midnight regularly. They also were doing their laundry at 1:30AM last night. The people in my building can't seem to find the dumpsters; they miss the dumpsters as they throw their trash in and their bags rip open and spill out. Also, I'm wondering if you have to pay for your own internet? The apt website claims to provide free wireless internet to all its residents. However, there are too few access points, low signal and horribly low bandwidth (capacity) that the network cannot carry the entire complex. I keep getting "limited or no connectivity" on my laptop, and I don't even get a signal on my desktop. Because of this, I've been having to pay at least $50/month for internet that is supposed to be an amentity. When we had our walkthru before signing the lease, they said we would not have to pay for our wireless internet. LIE. If we want it, we have to pay for it and provide it ourselves. This is why I'm going to be starting a petition to the office of unsatisfied residents concerning the wifi connections. It's been over a year and a half of "we're working on fixing the problem" responses from the office and I'm tired of it. I'm going to be placing flyers for each resident from "wheresthewifi@gmail.com" so if you see one, that's from me. If you're having the same problems, please respond. Together we can get some change around here.
