It seems stunning that this is the first review of Highland Ridge Apartments, however not so stunning that it is a very negative experience. My wife and I started the lease on the 3rd floor of the NON-CREDIT lease (Apparently, they offer a 50% credit on the lease if you make under a certain amount a month, which is a complete con for them to get you re attention) we weren t even offered the credit application to apply ourselves, once we found this out the lease had been signed, strike one Highland Ridge. Next, the people next to us and under us had loud music on 24/7, being grad students at K-State we were unable to fully apply ourselves to our studying, strike two. After a long battle with the property manager we finally had a chance to move to another apartment, however, only on the 1st floor and not the 3rd (One of the reasons we had signed up for the apartment in the first place.) No longer did we have annoying neighbors, but four large air condition units outside our windows of the master bedroom and guest bedroom, which were on at all times of the day to cool the entire building. Bottom line, no one should even consider these apartments, there is not one part which was satisfactory; bad construction, bad neighbors, and most of all, bad management. You ve been warned.

Thanks for the heads up. I went by the other day and checked out the apartments, didn't seem too bad at first but then I noticed some of what you listed in your review (The management, air-conditioners, etc.) I ended up going somewhere else.
