I lived in Brittnay Ridge for two years 2001-2003. The first year wasn?t so bad, we never got fined for anything and they would come out and fix things fairly fast. The second year was horrible, the entire year my roomates and I were there we were fined around $600, for random things such as lawn chairs and some beer cans in the front yard at 8:00 in the morning. Come on we?re in college. Then upon moving out they informed us that we needed to paint our townhome, I dont remember that being in the lease and sure enough it is not. According to kansas landlord act they are responsible for normal wear and tear, but they do not think that. I was there at the checkout, they charged me $600 for painting, $400 to replace the downstairs carpet which is white, stupid idea MDI, $20 for a shutter which was not even fixed 3 months later. They also made the mistake of telling me that they were selling Brittnay Ridge to another property management company. So they?re probobly trying to get all the money out of college students as possible. Our security deposit was $950 and after they took all of that we ended up owing $160. That whole apartment isn?t worth that much with all the cardboard they used to put it up.



In conclusion never rent from McCullough development unless you want to get royally screwd
