1119 Laramie-Filthy Move-In Condition

The apartment had been painted but there were paint spills everywhere. There was mold in the bathroom and the kitchen. There was a combination of mold and dirt all around the baseboards, under the light switches and outlets, and around the toilet. Much of the caulking was moldy, even underneath. It was messily applied and had been applied over other mold. The kitchen and bathroom floors were dirty. There was scum, grease, and old food on the tiles in the kitchen. The miniblinds were coated with old dirt, and the windows and screens were filthy. There were gouges in the woodwork and the louvered door by the furnace was caked with dirt. The bathroom fan didn't work and had about an inch of old lint and dirt on it. The cabinet and drawer bottoms were dirty and had old dirty contact paper still stuck to them, or peeling paint. The toilet had a minor leak. The hallways were dirty with debris and the carpet looked like it had never been vacummed. The hall window did not have a screen. This apartment was very substandard and we were glad to leave it. Oh yes, holes various places in the walls like under the sink also. Close to Aggieville but more like camping out than living.
