My fiance lived at the Chevelry apartments on bluemont for five years. He lived on the ground floor and on several occassions raw sewage would back up into his toliet and bath tub. It would take days before the maintainance would respond leaving the sewage to just fester there in the bathroom. When they did come to fix it, they spilt the sewage on the rug and tracked it all over the house. What's worse, they took it out of his deposit to pay for it!
There was also the matter of the spider infestation. Aparently MDI doesn't think that brown recluse spiders are a problem or else they would have made an effort to kill them. My fiance was bitten by a spider several times one night and woke up swollen and feeling ill. Fortunately he wasn't allergic to the point of death!
All of the appliances were old, broken and out dated. The walls, ceilings, and floors were thin and we could hear his neighbors' intimate moments with amazing clarity.
Over all, this apartment is over priced and poorly maintained. Don't rent here!

If it was that bad, why did he live there for 5 years?? Didnt he look at the apt. before renting it? Just a thought...
