AVOID

I totally agree with the reviewers before me! This is the 5th apartment in 2 states that I have rented, and by far the suckiest. The Manager took almost 10 days to process my app (usually 1 day everywhere else), which they blamed on my old apartment (which was awesome), and then finally discovered that they had never faxed them the form.
I was also told it was much cheaper to break my lease before I subleased it, or I never would have rented this crap hole apartment. Its pretty neat when they lie to get people to lease.
WTF do they use a $500 administrative fee for anyways' Every other apartment just lets you keep paying rent until it released, not take advantage of you. AND you don't have to keep the utilities in your name after you vacate. Before I moved in, they didnt even paint or anything, PLUS there is a massive burn on the linoleum in the kitchen, which the previous tenant said was there even before she moved in. I mean how much does it really cost to replace linoleum' Really'
Another thing is that in the two bedrooms, the shower head is literally designed for a midget. I am 5'5" and have to duck the whole time I'm taking a shower and the water temperature constantly goes from freezing to scalding, which they never fixed. The garbage disposal is basically worthless, you can't put much of anything down it. That combined with no dish washer kind sucks.
ROACHES!!! I was actually bug free 95% of the time, but the day after they sprayed the building, i did find a cockroach in the kitchen, which means someone here had roaches. F---ng disgusting. I pretty much didnt eat for like 2 weeks.
The walls and floors are paper thin, i can literally hear every conversation my neighbors have and everything they do. In the winter, anywhere close to the windows or doors was freeeeezing. The entire building reeks of nasty freaking food, constantly. The entryway and hall lights were also pitch black one whole weekend, which was pretty freaking creepy.
I did not notice that utilities were cheap here actually... Maybe manhattan just rips people off compared to other places, I dunno.
Anyways enough of my rant. Long story short, unless you like your whole apartment to smell like your neighbors nasty food, backaches from showers, and just an all around cheap, poorly maintained apartment, DONT move here. Spend a few more dollars and get a better place.
