The staff was very rude, and they did very little to help me with a huge problem I was having with my exroommate. Even the managers basically were just jerking me around. Finally we told them that they had to move me out of my room or we would consider them in violation of their contract.

you are more than welcome to sublease of course as it states in your lease. unfortunately, there are conditions you have to obide by to prevent students from transfering to a different room every time they have an issue with a roomate.
