At least 3 months before your lease is up, they start hounding you and using their scare tactics by saying that they will increae your rent for a lot more money if you wait until your renewal date is actually up. They try and force you into making a decision at least 3 months before your lease is up. Also, depending if you have lived there a long time or if management "likes" or "dislikes" someone of if they want a particular resident out, the renewal rate is totally abitrary and management can and DOES name their price. They have no set rules or bylaws and I recommend you driving around the complex or knock on doors and ask how much others' rent was increased. I have heard anywhere from $10 to $250 (becuase they thought this person had money because they drove a Mercedes). Another game they play is when they rent a desirable apartment, which consists of more square footage, privacy, location, features in the apartment, for a "special" or "reduced" rate, they try and force that person out at renewal by either threatening to increase their rent so high that they will move in order to re-rent the unit for what they call "market rate", which means they make up their own price. This complex does not abide by any "market" rates or anything for that matter. They are their own city and make up their own rules. If you call the office and ask what rent goes up to after your lease is up, they WILL NOT give you a price. This is a sneaky, lying and deceitful way to run a business and should be avoided!

What a FLAT OUT LIAR! We all know who you are.You think you know whats going on but you dont even know what day it is.You are a past employee. EVERYONE~This is a past employee who tried to tell me the same thing after this person was fired.
