I lived without air conditioning for much of the summer, despite phone call after phone call after phone call, was actually LIED to numerous times about why it wasn't fixed yet by those sweet people in the office. Temperatures were unbearable, and I lived on the top floor. One of my fish actually died from the heat, but still, nothing done about it until I threatened to call the housing authority. Many other problems here, mostly maintainence related, but the whole place seemed like a cluster. Plus, my deck should probably have been condemned. Oh, and I was supposed to get "a view"... what I got had a great view of all the car wrecks on I-35. Don't even get me started on the pest problem. I killed at LEAST one brown recluse a day, and maybe 30 of them on moving day. I hated my entire year here, and I payed way too much for what I got.

No one gets air conditioning here...until June or July. We also had lots of bugs, it was disgusting. We moved to Park Edge in Lenexa. Much better...no bugs and I can control my own air conditioning.
