Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2003
We have a 2 bedroom-2bath, 1140 square feet. Our rent is currently $895.00 a month, including a $15.00 pet rent, and a carport rent of $30.00. Our apartment is huge, lots of windows, gas paid. All the rooms are bright and cheery, even the kitchen has a window over the sink. Unfortunately, management problems plague this complex.
The front office is rude and slow to respond to maintenance problems. I have been trying to get them to fix a window for almost 2 years now. Neighbors moved out after 11 years because the complex would not fix some serious plumbing problems that they notified management of on numerous occasions. After they moved out, management did come in and fix the plumbing.
I?ve spoken with many other tenants who have also had problems with management being slow to respond to maintenance problems, and there are several ground floor units that have serious flooding problems.
The carports and sidewalks are in a serious state of disrepair, with no plans to fix them anytime soon. There are two playground areas that have very old, very dangerous playground equipment. The only recent improvements made have been to buildings that can be seen from the street. Going further into the complex, the lack of care is very apparent.
There have also been serious staffing problems in the front office, including the hiring of a head maintenance manager who was a known felon with a record and a drug addiction.
