my wife and i have lived here for nearly a year now, and we love it. they're currently a bit slow-moving to fix minor maintenance issues, but with the newly completed club house (which is amazing, by the way) and all of the painting, roofing, etc. that has been going on all over the grounds, it's fully understandable. the people in the office are great, as are the maintenance people. the head of maintenance is super friendly, remembering who you are, where you live, etc. the floor plans are huge, with really low prices, compared to a lot of other places in the metro area with similar size and amenities. the landscaping is beautiful, and though it's only a block away from I-35 and metcalf, it seems secluded because of all the trees and the beautiful winding road (which does, actually, pose a bit of a problem in the winter, but it's workable.) my biggest current complaint is that they advertised the 24-hour fitness center prior to the opening of the new club house, and it's still being advertised as such on the rental sites, yet it isn't actually open 24 hours. my wife and i went over there about an hour ago to see if it was available, and all the doors are locked. that's annoying. hopefully they'll have it open at all hours soon!

apartments are old, leaks all the time (according to many problems I hear and inside my apartment too), appliances break all the time (50 yr old AC and heaters) and they are slooowwww to fix them. bad management
