We have also had many leaks, even through our kitchen light! The window in our second bedroom is falling apart from mold and deterioration, so the entire room was unusuable. What's worse is that when we call and discuss upcoming fees associated with moving out, they ask us (in a snotty tone) why we didn't put in a maintenance call--that's when I remind them of the list of things that they still have not gotten to. Our carpet has been severely damaged by overflowing sinks in the vanity room and kitchen, as well as the broken A/C outside our apartment--we had two inches of water in our entry way and hall right when we moved in. Also, the knobs and pull handles on the kitchen and vanity cabinets either fell off and had to be re-attached, or broke off; we did not use any extraneous force on these handles and were surprised by their poor quality. Furthermore, the patio door lock was broken when we moved in and remained unusable; we had to purchase and install our own security devices since they never came to fix it. We should have never moved in; they gave away our first choice in apts before we moved in and had to take one without washer and dryer hook-ups. We had to take care of the bugs ourself. The parking lot is not lit up, and I have heard of at least two break-ins within the past 3 months. The staff is chipper when they answer but rude when you call to remind them for the 5th or 6th time that maintenance has not corrected a problem. We are moving out in two months, and I am positive that we will be taking them to court.
