Awww,, yes, the Falls,, Where do I start' My apartment never had sewage back-up but I sure smelled it! And I smelled puke because of the giant pile of it in the hall 2 doors away that sat there for 2 weeks! I'm pretty sure I smelled crack too,, from the numerous crack-heads who lived there.... must have been the same ones who broke out my boyfriends' car window and destroyed the inside of his car trying to get his CD player out! They also stole my little sisters CD player out of her car when she came to visit me for one night! Awwww... the piles of broken glass in the parking lot every morning... I counted 9 once! I dealt with that for the entire 3 years that I was stuck there! Ya see, about 3 months before a lease is up the communists in the office put a little letter on your door reminding you that your lease is gonna end,, now, you can either renew it 2 months early or find a new place,, if you don't, then they raise the rent to some amount even more insane that what it already is! The timing has to be absolutely perfect to free yourself from the mess you've gotten yourself into by getting tricked into moving there! Thank God I finally got out 3 months ago! The main reason I left was because one night I was outside in the beautiful court yard there, it was about 11 pm. and a security guard walked up to me and said I couldn't be there! Where was he when all the cars were getting broken into' Anyway, The Falls had imposed a CURFEW! A 10 o'clock CURFEW!!! I couldn't be outside in what I consider my backyard after 10! I payed rent for that and they just decided in the middle of my lease that I could no longer be outside unless walking to or from my car! I wasn't being loud, I wasn't swimming in their hot tub with the brownn bubbles that didn't pop, or in the pool filled with dead bugs, I was just quietly walking around because not everyone is ready for bed at 10! I even had my ID with my address on it so the guard knew I lived there,, he didn't care though,, I was forced to go back to my tiny 1 bedroom appartment that looked like a hotel room for 587.50$ a month. When I calmly tried to tell the snotty little appartment manager, Niclole, my problem,, she said in the bitchiest way she could, "I don't know what to tell you, that's just the way it is"!!!! That is usually her response to everything. She is the snottiest woman I have ever met. ...... The walls in the appartments are paper thin and I heard everything my neighbors said,, I can tell you what movies they watched, when they went to bed. I can also tell you they didn't clean their cats litter boxes because the hall smelled like poo. Awwwww.. always a new and exciting disguesting smell with every turn through the maze of hallways leading to my home. Nothing like draging big bags of trash a mile away to one of 2 dumpsters located at the far ends of the parking lots... I certainly don't miss the huge inconvenience of carrying trash and groceries so very far away! And God forbid you break your leg or something while you live there,,, you won't find an elevator anywhere in that place. It's like some weird compound that sucks you in and you can't get out,, then they impose more rules on you and turn your water off for 15 minute intervals through out the day, probably during your shower.. , and get all bitchy when you call them to see when it will be back on. Over all, I just don't have a single good thing to say about the Falls or the time I spent there plotting ways to get out. They advertise how convenient it is to be 2 minutes from I35 but that road was closed off for at least 6 months because of land slides! I could go on and on about that place,, I have soooo very much to say.. just know that if you move there, you will regret it untill you finally find a way to get out.
