Ok, but not worth it

I have lived here for about 15 months and am ready to move out. I keep thinking "maybe things will improve over time" but, not at all the case. The noise level has been less than desirable and tonight pretty much put the icing on the cake when I heard a loud boom. I called the police saying that I heard what I believed to have been a gun shot in the complex. About an hour later (after getting the guts to get out of my closet) I go to Taco Bell where I came across a cop and asked him about what was found out about the loud noise. He said there are always complaints coming from The Falls and that it was most likely just a large firework going off.
I will say, though, that Angie in the leasing office is nice and willing talk to you about your concerns. My appliances are nice and working well, including my a/c and heating. Also, a few minor things around here to be worked on such as my towel rack and light bulbs burning out and a screen door loose have gotten fixed within a day. I also like having the basketball court and swimming pool right out my patio door. As far as mail goes, I do greatly appreciate the leasing office willing to sign for packages. The grounds are kept up well and looking nice.
Back to my concerns, the place to take the garbage is a long ways away from the complex. Also, a huge hill that you have to drive up to the parking lot isn't heated, so this past winter when we'd get a little ice or snow, I had to drive real fast down the road to make it up the drive. Also, this place smells weird. Every once in awhile I see the maintenance people shampooing the hallways so I don't know what it is, but it certainly does smell less than pleasurable. A couple of months ago my pickup got broken into and tons of stuff got stolen out of it. And not only was my vehicle damaged, but as I was filling out the police report with an officer, a woman from a couple of cars down came over and pointed out that hers was also broken into. That morning I walked around and counted a total of seven vehicles that had been broken into. That particular woman's trunk had even been gotten into. The walls here also are too thin. I can hear my neighbor's alarm clock in the morning. And along those lines, the person above me quite frequently has evening "activities" that squeak my ceiling that make it difficult to sleep. Also, this is supposed to be a smoke free environment, but about every night coming home from work I can smell cigarette smoke in the hallway. As far as fitness facilities go, they do have a tanning bed, but is so heavily used a person can barely find an opportunity when noone else is using it. There are like 5 treadmills here and none of them are working at the present moment. The only weight machine they have is rather old and since I've been here the cables have had to be replaced several times. As far as ease of being able to move in, it's terribly difficult to get your stuff moved in. I had to hall my stuff AT LEAST 150 yards to my apartment from the closest parking spot where I won't get a ticket for parking. I think the bare minimum they should do is a have a reserved parking place for new/leaving tenants. I also find it kind of funny that when I drive up the hill to the parking lot, that wrapped around a sign regarding parking permits (which you don't need, really) there is a whole bunch of poison ivy growing.
I've done a lot of research on other places in the area, and for the money, I'm planning on going elsewhere to find an affordable, comfortable place to live.
