They claim to have secure access to the building, but people constantly prop doors open or put tissue in the doors so that they don't lock. They say they have security cameras all over the building. When my car was broken into, they first told me they may or may not be able to tell from the surveilance footage who broke in. The second time I called to check on it, they told me that they only have cameras in the halls, not in the parking lot (despite the fact that there are signs in the parking lot saying there is surveillance). People park illegally and block my car in. There are several people that let their dogs run loose outside chasing anyone that walks by, one dog tried on several occasions to bite my son and the owner just stood there and watched. My apartment has ants and cockroaches. The people in the apartment above me have parties all the time, the people accross the hall have loud arguements in the hall. The gym is supposed to be open 24 hours, but several times I've found it locked. I have complained about all these things to the people in the office and nothing has been done about any of it. When I signed my lease, I was told that my water bill would be about $6 per month. When I got my first statement, I found that my water bill was $25 and I also had a $10 trash bill which they had never mentioned before. And once, they wrote the wrong amount on my statement, I paid the amount written, and then I got a notice that I still owed $0.01 and would be charged $20 a day in late fees until the one cent was paid.
