This place looks good on paper. Looks like there are a lot of amenities and decent rent. Looks are decieving.

The deposits are the highest of any I have lived at in 5 years. They penalize you $5-20 extra per month depending on how low your credit score is. When I requested they fix my air conditioning they duct taped it. There is a foul gaseous smell coming out of the pipes in the bathroom. You get two keys, one for outside doors the other for your apt. If you lose the outdoor key, the replacement cost is $75. The tanning bed was broken for months and months. The hot tub rarely works. The internet cafe is a great idea but the computers dont' work and are extremely slow.

I have never been late in rent my entire life but when my check got lost in the mail ONE TIME... in just 3 days of being late they sent me a letter stating that I have to pay $20 non-compliance fee, $51 late fee, and $10 per day late fee, and if I didn't produce the money within 3 days they would keep my deposit money and terminate the rental agreement. It was LABOR DAY WEEKEND. The first was SATURDAY, I paid them on Wednesday. Only 4 days late. In addition, they have lost 3 packages that were sent to me. They dont' keep track of the packages they sign in and they let other people just grab whatever packages they want. Most of the maintence guys sincerely look like they have mental problems, and the staff are young girls with bad attitudes who take personal calls and act like you are a criminal if you need their help. The tanning bed is only available first come first serve during office hours and the gym equipment is actually very shoddy. The hallways smell of urine and/or smoke or pot. It's like living in a hotel from he*ll. People have been arrested for smoking pot at the pool. People have spilt drinks and vomited in pool. It's just a dark and dingy place that's made to look good by the pool and slapping some fresh paint on. I regret moving here.

The only things I liked are: 1. the pool, 2. the layout of my appartment and 3. the closeness to downtown KC.

Adding to this just last night the apartments got raided with 3 police cars and a police van. They were letting illegal imigrants stay here. Too many roaches for them just to spray once every 4 months. It's horrible. Too many potheads here and the staff is the rudest staff i've ever met. everyone including the managers need to be fired. Maybe if we had better staff hings would actually get doe around here
