My wife and I have lived here for almost a year. You should know there are a lot of penalties and fees they charge. I left 1 bag of trash and 2 empty boxes out of our apartment in the hall for a day and then I took them to the dumpster. About a week later we get a notice that they were charging us 75 dollars because the maintenence men had to take them to the dumpster. Meanwhile the lady that lives on the ground floor has left the same trash bags on her porch for weeks at a time. I guess that we were charged because they had to walk down the stairs or something. There is also a drug dealer who sells pot in the stairwells, so if you need any just hang around for a while. The building is overrun with mice. Like the kind that aren't scared of humans. needless to say, that's pretty gross. Um, haven't had a problem with bugs, but then they're probably busy eating next door at my neighbors apartment. It advertises a tennis court but it's mostly used for a dog recreation area, so unless you want to play and dodge turds at the same time, don't count on it. A previous poster said it smelled like vomit in the halls, but I haven't had to smell that. I have experienced that it smells like potato chips though. I don't know how many chips you have to buy in order for a whole apartment building to smell like them. The rent isn't chaep for what you get. If you're looking for a crappy apartment you can get a 2 bedroom at southfork in olathe for the same price you pay for a studio here. the closet is huge, but the doors fall apart. I called the maintenence about it and they came and fixed it, but they broke again. there is 3 and they all broke. The ceiling leaks, and they won't come to fix it. It's a pink colored spot on the ceiling. I can hear my neighbor yelling at her husband about how she is going to kill herself. I wonder if the paramedics could get into the building if she does, because they don't give you enough keys to the doors for the amount of people that live here (we only have one). So i don't think they're giving out any extras. If you do want one, it cost 75 dollars. (I'm starting to see a trend).There is a "coffee bar", but i wouldn't use it if any of the other people that live here. If you call a huge pile of trash with coffee sprinkled all over it, a coffe bar. Then I guess it classifies as one. Parking is horrible. people have taken to parking in the roadways and it's real hard to get to your part of the building. I have seen a cop writing tickets once, but it dosen't really scare anyone. I saw the security office for the first time the other day. Anyway I can go on and on, but this is pretty much the basic stuff. Hope it helps you to make up your mind.

The Falls is a DUMP!! The only good thing about it is location if you need quick access to downtown area. Depending on which building you live in, you may have quite a hike to get to your apartment from the back of the overcrowded parking lot - not convenient if you're carrying a couple bags of groceries! The studio apartment is set up a little nicer than a lot of studios - the bedroom area is actually a small room with 3 walls - but remember you are sharing your space with rodents and bugs. The rent is cheap, but there are other, nicer, places around town with comparable rent. Wouldn't recommend this place!
