GOOD: 1.Small park with walking trail behind the apartments
2.Lots of storage area in my apartment(large walk in closet)
3.Most units have washer and dryer area(w&d can be rented)
4.Covered parking available
5.Mostly young professionals or students but a few older people as well
6.Friendly office personal
7.Lighted walkways
8.Pets allowed

I am sure there are several other good things about Silverwood that I
can't think of right now.

BAD: 1.Maintenance is slow and they usually don't fix things correctly.
2.Several pet owners do not clean up after their pet(s).
3.Parking is very bad. Often have to park a long way from our apartment.
Waiting list for covered spaces.
4.Can hear people upstairs(walking and talking).This is especially bad in the
bathroom. You can also hear the people upstairs shower water coming down the
pipe in the wall in the bedroom. This took some getting used to when we
moved in because it would wake up at 6 a.m. when the person upstairs took a
shower.
5.Rent is too high for these apartments.
6.Apartments were built cheaply and are now falling apart.
7.Hardly any foam under carpeting even though carpet is not very old. In the
winter our feet are freezing even though we have shoes and socks on. I have
to wear two pairs of socks with my slippers on and my feet are still cold.
8.Hallways are lighted but bulbs are not checked and replaced in a timely
matter.

I hope this helps you with your decision. Good luck with you apartment hunting. Just remember that the good should outweigh the bad. I am afraid we will be apartment hunting when our lease expires.
