I have lived here for about a year and a half. I've never seen any "shady" behavior going on like other posts have mentioned. There is a policeman that drives through daily to make sure things are ok. They keep one gate open only to deter random people from driving through, but when the weather gets bad, they open up the second gate, which is really nice.

The maintenance man is prompt at getting things fixed.

They spray for bugs often. We've only seen one roach, and the next day they came and sprayed, haven't seen any since. We did have a small problem with ants once, but it didn't last more than a week.

It's in a very convenient location, right by 35, 635, and Metcalf. It's not hard to get anywhere, and there's a lot of shopping close by.

What worries me is that every time I go into the office for something, I see a new person working there. None of the same staff is there from when we moved in a year and a half ago. They're all extremely nice though, and will work with you go get whatever you need done.

There are only 2 things that I don't like about our apartment:
1) There are no lights on the ceiling. You have to bring your own.
2) Our outdoor storage closet is right in the middle of a wall that should be a window. There's not enough light in there because of where the storage is located. I know it's not like that in all the apartments, I've seen a few with bay windows, but it just sucks that we have to turn on the light in the kitchen and living room all the time because it's so dark.

Overall, I'd say you're getting what you pay for. There's a website where you can enter in your rent amount and city, and it will tell you if you're paying too much or too little, and Stone Ridge was right in the middle. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
