I have lived here for 4 years with my husband. It has been pretty rough. Our first year was hell and I had to call the police b/c of threats by my downstairs neighbors. I felt like that situation was handled accordingly for the most part. The parking has always sucked and I have been told by one of the office staff that there is not enough parking for one car per apartment much less two car households and visitors. Our second year was good b/c an old friend of mine happened to move in downstairs. Third year has been ok but my husband was given a handicapped parking tag and we had the cops called on us and they came to our door to verify that he was handicapped. What the hell' Then the lady across the hall from us who is also handicapped doesn't know how to park so she takes up two spots everyday. She has been told to park correctly by management but refuses to listen and they do nothing. So I have to say that if you complain to them, it most likely will not be enforced. As for the kid issue, I think that your kids need to be supervised at all times. There are some not so wonderful people that live here and I would think you would want your kids to be watched. Plus they do run around outside late at night and play in the parking lot. It's a parking lot, where cars are, there are play areas on both sides of the complex for the kids. I have even seen them dumpster diving, that is just gross much less unhealthy for them. I will be staying here for another year just b/c I want to get a house by then but after that we are out of here and I cant wait! My car too has been dented and scratched but people. Seems that most of the residents here don't have nice things or don't care about their own thing so for sure don't expect them to care about your stuff or you for that matter. And the winter time is really bad. My husband fell on the ice and lost his job b/c he had hurt himself from falling so hard. Nice. I had to buy my own salt last year just so I could get to my car in the morning.
