We just moved out of our unit which overlooked the pool. We lived at the homestead for 15 months and got a pretty good deal on a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. Since the new retail development, the decided to raise our rent $107 for a new 13 month lease. Great place, but they all but forced us to move when you have find apartments at the same quality for much less rent. Our new renewal rate was more than the current special being offered to new tenants! When we pointed this out to manangement, they refused to offer us the new tenant rate, this is what ultimataly fueled our desire to leave this community.
