I have been a long-term resident of The Homestead Apartments. Although some of other residents negative statements are a bit true, the positives FAR OUTWEIGH the negative at this complex. You can't live in an Olathe apartment at a more convenient location than this one. The complex is beautiful and the apartment property has a nature trail and woodsy feel to it. The office staff (especially the veterans) are top-notch and are so extra nice. I have yet to incur enough maintenance issues to feel like I can complain about it. Overall, this is a very nice place to live. Check out more apartments on this apartment rating site. You will find very, very few that are rated this high in Johnson County, especially in Olathe. Nothing here is so major or such a huge problem that it's worth any time and investment to pull up stakes and move somewhere else. You get what you pay for and what you get here is pretty darned nice.
