To start with, everything was pretty good, but after there was a change in the management company who owned Indian Meadows, it continually got worse and worse. First of all, the office staff either got robbed of the rent checks or just carelessly lost them, they had no concept of how to tell who had paid their rent, how much was owed, or when it was paid, and the office staff were notorious for doing their own laundry in the clubhouse laundry room after hours when nobody else could. The swimming pool was not kept the the absolute cleanest, and if you didn't mind crooked floors, or cakes and other baked items to be thicker at one end, then the levelness in the apartments were tolerable. Once the AMC 30 began construction, Management refused to do what was necessary to keep the place from becoming a cockroach motel. It was common to count as many as 30 cockroaches in just the kitchen and bathroom within a 2hr period. Rather than tent and fumigate the entire building(s) to eliminate the problem once and for all, the management would rather pay for an exterminator service to come in once a month to spray. All that did was chase the cockroaches to an adjacent apartment until that apartment was sprayed so that the cockroaches would alternate between the two or three adjacent apartments. The new management staff was about as friendly as knowledgeable on effectively and efficiently running an apartment complex as a typical 8th grader would be at running mission control at NASA.
If this is what you're looking for in a place to live...BE MY GUEST!! But for most people, I would rather go through the expense of staying in a hotel/motel...it would be better use of your money.
