Overall, the rent is expensive for what you get and the square footage is chintzy. Although the landscaping of the grounds is attractive, the management?s investment in regular interior and exterior building maintenance leaves something to be desired. The pond on the grounds attracts many noisy Canadian geese that leave droppings everywhere (yes, everywhere) and honk loudly day and night.
For example, the carpets were worn when we moved in, but they will not consider replacing them, nor will they clean them without a fight. The dishwasher doesn?t get the dishes clean but it won?t be replaced either. The fridge and ceiling fan rattle loudly. The HVAC is barely adequate. The laundry facilities are totally inadequate (2 washers and dryers for 24 families) and it?s difficult to find them available to use. There are only three storage areas, which you must rent to use (rip off!). Worst of all, we?ve had a continuous battle with insect infestation, and getting it treated has been a major pain in the neck.
Perhaps the biggest problem is the noise from neighbors and visitors driving through with tires squealing and stereos blasting at all hours (literally). It seems that every third car is in need of an exhaust repair. We even have neighbors who seem to enjoy vacuuming at midnight.
Keep looking for a better deal--it?s out there. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
