Pinecrest Townhomes is the worst place I have ever rented from. The apartments are overpriced, poorly maintained, and cheaply built. For example, maintenance has had to replace the weather stripping in my front door 3 times, and there is a still a draft so strong that the living room is always 20 degrees cooler than the rest of the house. The appliances are so loud that you cannot plan on doing anything when they are running. Plan to hear your neighbors telephone ring because the walls are so thin. Parking is a disaster. You really have to just park anywhere on the street to be close to your home. The back sliding door does not lock on any of the homes. Management is aware and chooses not to fix this. My apartment has had two break-in attempts and my own car and my roommates have been broken into. Lastly, management is a joke. I get a new notice every week that I owe money. I go in and talk to them and they say I was overcharged for this or that. I agree to write a check for the higher amount and be refunded. A week later, I will get another notice saying that I am being charged $10 for that same bill being late. I have to go at least once a week to complain to the office and have them straigten things out. Worst of all, they keep this all in my renters file with them. Every late notice they have sent me is in there with no explanation that it is invalid.
