I am the Community Manager of Pinecrest Townhomes and I would like to address some of the recent concerns posted here on Apartmentratings.com.

The Courtyard Parking Agreement was implemented after receiving several concerns throughout the community from our residents about being blocked in from getting in and out of their garages by those parking in the shared driveways. Our Courtyard floorplans have a common shared driveway with the garages on the side of the building. Unfortunately, to allow certain buildings to continue parking in their shared driveway and to prohibit it in another location is not fair to all of our residents. Prior to implementing the Courtyard Parking Agreement the management of Pinecrest Townhomes weighed the pro s and con s of both sides and deemed this to be the best possible resolution and for the greater good of the community. Open parking is provided in front of every building and most townhomes feature a garage that guarantees a parking space when you come home. We have found those individuals expressing frustration with the new parking agreement are using their garages for storage. While we understand the frustrations and inconvienences the writers of these reviews feel, we ask them to try and understand the thought and reasoning behind the implementation of this policy. Imagine opening your garage door before leaving for work or for an important appointment to find an unknown vehicle is blocking you from leaving. While the writers of these reviews express frustration and concern we also have received many Thank you s from residents on enforcing the community's parking rules and regulations.

As for the pool issues, we were experiencing problems with the pool area after hours. A letter was sent out to all our residents regarding the pool asking that if tany residents witness activities with the pool area to please report these activities to the office or to call the Olathe Police Department non-emergency phone number. Fortunately this letter generated several tips resulting in identifying the individuals who were causing the damages and the problem was solved.

The staff at Pinecrest Townhomes strives to provide an enjoyable living experience and superior customer service for all of our residents. If residents should have any questions or concerns they can reach me by email at manager@pinecresttownhomes.com or by phone at 913-397-7463

I do not live here, but I am moving to this area and considered this complex even though I find it to be a tad bit overpriced. Now that I have read these reviews I have become hesitant to even tour a townhome here. Pinecrest became a definate NO after reading about the parking situation and reading the manager's review. Even in writing the manager seems to not care about anyone and is lying out of his or her (excuse my language)...butt. If there was a parking situation they should address and punish the individuals who were blocking other residents. Even I know how that should be handled and I've had no management classes of any sort. It's just common sense people.

I do not live in Olathe, but I am moving to the area and my family and I are considering this complex even though we find it a bit overpriced. This I know for sure you pay for what you get in this world. Although the anonymous writer has some valid points, that I personally share. The point about the parking, they should address and punish the individuals who were blocking other residents. But can you truly control those who visit you? "" NO "" These town homes seem to be in a quiet zone of town according to my Christan brothers & sisters who live their in the city. I am moving to the city now I am not talking about a 200 mile trip but a move of over 1000 miles, from Texas. I asked for help from the staff on colleges and various things, let me tell you folks I received a reply with 4 hours, so thanks goes out to the staff. Rev. Royce Beasley El Paso, Texas
