While living there I was witness to more domistic disputes from my neighbors than I care to remember. The police were called to these apartments on a weekly basis to deal with domistic disputes and loud, obnoxious parties...to say nothing of the fights! I saw guys chasing down other guys with baseball bats. The guy that lived two apartments beneath me was once beaten so bad he was hospitalized in the ICU for a week! The guys in the apartment next to him sexually harassed me on a regular basis...and I mean VERY crude,explicit and threatening harassment. Though I and many others that I know of complained to the staff about this, nothing was ever done...despite the clause in the contracts stating that numerous complaints would get you evicted. It seems nothing short of rape and murder could oust these intolerable neighbors! Another time, when my drain was hopelessly clogged, I called maintenance. The maintenance man came and banged on my door like a mad man. When I opened it, he stormed in past me, stomped to straight to the bathroom, and threw things around while complaining the entire time how I enterrupted the game. (apparantly there was a big basketball game on that day). He was even cussing! I was terrified what he might do to me. He unclogged the drain, then stormed out, slamming the door and knocking things off the wall behind him. Once again, my complaint to the office didn't even bring much of a response and I just had to have my brother-in-law come over to fix any other problems I had, as I was too scared to call for maintenance as the same man continued to work there the rest of the time I lived there. I did NOT feel safe and was OUT OF THERE as soon as my year lease was up. I WOULD NOT recommend this place for ANYONE...especially single women!!!
