I lived here when they were first built. I had section 8 and I resent the steroetyping that goes with that. Not all of us are nasty people, though I can understand why many think that way. I had a very good experience back then. When I moved out, I left my apartment in spotless condition and got all of my deposit back. I moved there again last year and while my stay there was decent, it was move-out time that ticked me off. I am no longer on section 8 and had a financial crisis that forced me out of my lease. I knew that meant forfitting my $575 deposit, but I had no choice. I gave a written 30-day notice, and called to let them know I would be back for my W/D that I could not move when I left. I came to get it 3 days after I moved out. The next day, I received a bill from them totalling almost $3,000. Get real!!!!!! They said I gave no notice and "abandoned" the apartment, charged me for moving out my W/D, said the apartment was dirty and that I had cracked the front door. The crack was already there, along with a sticker from an alarm company, so obviously, whoever lived there before me had an alarm installed and THEY cracked the door. I know for a fact the door was not replaced, although they charged me for it. And it was on the edge where it can't be seen when the door is closed, and it causes no lost heat or air. Anyways, I took pictures of the apartment after I moved, even the inside of the fridge, and I luckily got one of my friend and I moving the W/D to the truck. If they ever try to pursue me for a dime, I will take it to court and watch them lie to the judge and then produce my photos. What a joke!!!! And yes--the original carpet from when I lived there years ago was still in place! And at one point, they had to shut down the elementary school and hold all the bus-riding kids there because there was a stand-off with a resident and the police, apparently a hostage situation. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! There are a lot nicer places with many more amentities for the same price!! But please, don't blame it on section 8. I come from an upper-class family in a wealthy JO CO. neighborhood, but I decided to support my family on my own when I became a single mother instead of running home to mommy and daddy. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

I lived at Ridgeview apts. for four years and a few months, I had been talking with the manager of the apts. For months letting her know that I may have to leave, because Sprint is lying off their employees. She advised me I would have to pay two months of rent equaling $1,362 dollars. I told her I could not afford to pay the full amount, but I could pay the last months rent, because I was laid of from Sprint. We agreed to pay the last months rent and everything would be ok. I order my credit report and I have a civil suite on my credit report. Would I refer anyone to this complex, yes and no, because when I had hardship they told me they would work with me, but when I received my credit report it showed something else. The management of the APTS lied to me
