I would just like to clarify a few things in response to the last two reviews (which responded to the washer/dryer review)...

It is not the actual dryer that is broken. The dryer works perfectly and I am thankful for that, since it gives me clothes to wear to work. However, the vent leading to outside (the vent that is part of the building - the building that I am helping pay to upkeep) is what does not allow the dryer to function properly when it is attached. I believe whole-heartedly that the dryer vent is the property's responsibility and if it does not function properly and they do not fix it, they are not doing their job.

Unfortunately, 5 whole months later than the last post about this, the vent still does not work. We have given up though and use our dryer unhooked from the wall. It heats up the apartment, which is annoying, but we've discovered management doesn't really care...

And as for all the raving reviews on this site, I find it hard to believe it's not just someone in the management office trying to make things look better.

I still think this isn't the worst apartment complex you could live in, but don't come in expecting them to give a crap about you.

I find this hard to believe that the staff "does not care" I have never had a problem with them coming to fix things in my apartment. I call them and someone is there...what would they have to gain by not fixing your dryer?? It is a simple procedure done by putting a "snake" through the vent. You might want to be careful using your dryer that way it could start a fire.

I hope when your lease was up you moved if you hated it so much. We wouldn't want neighbors who complain about things that have nothing to do with the complex. They are always fast to respond when things are broken and if it's something they can fix they do. It sounds to me that it just your dryer and you want to blame them. There are worst places to live believe me and I have left a rave review and am not a part of the staff.
