I would very seriously reconsider Virginia Lane.

I think it is under new management in recent years but even with the best management you cant turn a turd into gold.

When I lived there the area was deteriorating and the surroundings were kind of depressing to drive by to go home.

One of the neiboring complexes at that time didnt have dumpsters so the residents put their trash in a big pile by the curb.

there were always drunks in the alley behind my building (I was in a building that backed the old grocery store strip that i think houses good will now).

There were also a lot of hearing impared residents, which i did not have a problem with at all but they could be noisy.

There was this god awful woman Irene that was the manager and she called me to harrass me about noise complaints almost daily (the stripper below me apparently had an incredibly acute sense of hearing).

Most times that the noise complaints were made I was at work.

Also Irene had decided that all drug complaints were me as well, when I explained to her that it wasnt me, i was at work and that i had my hunch as to which neighbor it was she told me no it couldnt be him because he is deaf (which is also the same thing she said about noise complaints)

The layout of the apartment was nice, but that is about all i can say about the place.

Oh by the way, dont forget to renew your car tags if you live there because if you forget the day that they expire they will slap a tow tag on it!
