NOISE IS AWFUL!!!!!!

I am currently living at AMLI at Cambridge Square and would not recommend it. I am up all hours of the night with a dog in the apartment next to me that barks constantly. I have informed management and they do not seem concerned. They gave the residents next door a note about the noise, but when nothing changed (and I let them know it hadn't), nothing else was done. The walls are way too thin and they are built with the bedroom walls being the connecting walls=NOT SMART! Whoever said the traffic on I-435 is problem is kidding themself. The thin walls are the problem and do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live!

Ha wow! You are something else.
Did you at least go over and talk to your neighbors about the noise? There's nothing wrong with the walls here, I don't have sounds issues here, and if I did I would go to talk to the neighbor after the office sent the note, not run off and complain to them because obviously that wasn't effective the first time around.
Grow a pair.

Okay, why do you think talking to the dog's owners is going to help? If they didn't address the problem after getting a note from the office, why should they listen to another tenant that they apparently don't care about annoying? As I see it, the problem isn't so much with the construction of the apartments (although most of the new ones are very cheaply built) but more with the management of the complex. My advice - talk to the management again and ask them how they'd suggest to get this problem resolved. If that fails, check with the Overland Park police. They'll probably advise AGAINST knocking on some stranger's door in the middle of the night to complain. Perhaps they'd even suggest you call them when it happens so that they could talk to the dog's owners. By the way, even though I'm not a cop in Overland Park, I DO know what I'm talking about. Trust me on this....

Please the first response is probably from the office since they tell people they do that to keep there score up. I agree with this post the walls are way to thin. I can hear my neighbor peeing I would say thats to thin.
I also agree with that management does not care about complaints. We have complained several times about many things the largest problem being the racoons that have taken over the property which they continue to do nothing about. Counting down till my lease is up...Good Luck to anyone that chooses to leave here.
