This place is nothing special, don't be fooled by their marketing. There are much better options in Overland Park.

Whenever I talk to their staff, they act like I am bothering them and wasting their time.

Staff put a threatening note on every tenant's door saying they will charge you $100 if you are caught leaving a cigarrette butt on the ground.

After paying my rent ON TIME, staff mistakenly charged me a $50 late fee, and said they will charge $10 more for every day that the rent is late.

When I moved out, for no apparent reason, they demanded that I pay an additional $200 within two weeks or they will "ruin my credit rating" and "turn my account over to a collection agency."

They didn't even explain what the $200 is for. I thought it was extremely rude to threaten my credit rating, considering I paid my rent on time every month.

I just sent them the money to protect my credit rating.

I asked them what the $200 was for, they told me it's for "cleaning."

My apartment was clean when I moved out.

I agree with this comment. I got a rude letter for $2!!! When I contacted the office Erin treated me like I was an idiot. I refuse to pay a house payment for an apartment and be treated with horrible customer service. I can imagine how she treats someone who doesn't pay their rent? Maybe they will get the point when I MOVE OUT!!

i totally agree this place is a joke and would not recommend them or any AMLI to anyone. They raised my rent well over 10% and hitting me with late fees for trash, water, etc... for letters that half the time i never get. This place is a complete joke.
