AMLI Clear Creek has its good and bad. I moved to this complex fall 2008. The good is the interior looks great. I like the look of the kitchen and the bathroom. Visually my apartment looked great when I moved in minus minor things not noticeable unless you looked. The staff was friendly when I moved in but after I signed my lease I was treated differently as if I was there to steal there puppy. They were always cold, never smiled or even a simple hello when I stopped into the office. Its fine I understand they are there to rent the apartments not be your friend. So that leaves the bad things. My apartment had the same problems as others have had with the front door not properly fitting the frame. Except to face problems with heating and cooling because of this. AMLI failed to do any thing about this. The balcony "seems" safe but really looks cheaply built. Its a few beams and ply wood, not exactly ideal. Bugs are very rare to find they do a decent job at spraying for them, although I did find a roach-looking bug in my bedroom my second day here, he was dead I should add. The sound proofing isn't the greatest here but it is what I expect from a apartment complex. I can hear my neighbors walking up and down the stairs and slamming their doors. I can also hear my neighbors washer and drying running and I often just hear little noises in the wall. The water pressure is very odd in the complex as well. It works some days but other mornings I wake up the bathroom water pressure is barely dripping.

Parking could be better around here. I often come home and have to search for parking also I see a number of vehicles that have sat in the same spot since I have moved in. These cars eat up the spots of people who actually need them. If you own more than one vehicle good luck. The amenities at Clear Creek are overrated. The gym is tiny and the equipment is some that you would find at a retirement community. If you actually enjoy exercising keep your own gym membership. The pool isn't a place I would hang out but it definitely seems to be a popular spot. During the summer its like a college party out there. Plenty of booze and non-residents there. The pool is gated but people that don't live in the community always find their way into the area. I am also surprised by the amount of alcohol consumed at the pool due to the fact that it is against the rules and the children that tend to come to the pool.

Lastly if you plan to sleep any time after 8 am on a weekday DONT, AMLI brings landscaping crews in and there is always some sort of hammering or noise happening some place. That is a constant and I never expect a sleep in day. But over all AMLI isn't the worse apartment complex but it isn't the greatest. I do think the rent is a little high considering other communities offer more than what AMLI does at the same price for that alone I don't recommend it. But use my review only as a reference base your opinion on your own visit. Just make sure you ask all the questions and visit all the other apartment communities before signing a lease.
