The construction is shoddy at best. Noise from the apartment over me is excessive. Management has a real weak attitude about solving the noise problems. Cars are allowed to park on the street maiking it difficult should emergency vehicles need to get through. The attitude in the office is rather indifferent. The open hallways in the buildings are dirty, often with trash stacked outside apartment doors. The "car wash" is a joke, nothing more than a garden hose, unuseable often because of a stopped up drainage system. Vacuum cleaner' It doesn't work half the time either. Business center' Ha!, often can't use it because kids are playing games on the computers. The apartment itself is poorly consturcted. Cracks in walls, paint cipping, doors poorly fit and triming that was never finished.

Be smart, rent elsewhere

Sounds like things you should take up with managment not here, dont you think? All I read about are things you are complaing about. And not doing anything to help. Your rating is not helpful:-{

I think that this respondent is going over board. Personally, I have never had any problems with AMLI, and I have lived here for about 6 months. Of course there are going to be some issues with noice and with maintenance, it is afterall an apartment, but overall it is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The maintenance crew responds to any issues usually within in the same day. The hallways outside are not that dirty. Yeah there may be some dust, but it is outside!!! Also, I have never seen cars parked along the side of the street; there are more than enough parking spaces at this place. I wonder if this person actually lives here!!!

Management has been notified of the problems. But they would have to get off of their asses to see the problems. Police have been called on multiple occasions to take care of issues that management should be dealing with. As for "doing anything to help" it is not my responsibility to manage the property, that is supposedly what the people in the office are paid to do!
