SPIDER LODGE

BEWARE OF SPIDERS!!! Everything you've read about the spider problem is true. I was constantly seeing spiders in my apartment, along with cockroaches. It was horrible. I'd see them crawling on the walls, the ceiling, the carpet, on my brand new furniture, in the shower, everywhere. I even found one after I moved. The spider was hiding in my suitcase and came running out when I was unpacking. I was ready to move out 6 months into my lease. Looking back, I'm surprised I stayed as long as I did. When you can't sleep cause you're too worried about some spider falling from the ceiling, when you can't take a long shower cause you're too worried something will crawl in with you, when you can't sit on your couch cause bugs are hiding in the cushions or underneath, when you can't even walk barefoot because the disgusting carpet makes it hard to see bugs, that's when you know it's time to move.
I could go on and on about the spiders, but then I wouldn't be able to tell you about all the other problems at Aspen Lodge. First, there's the staff. They dress in a very trashy way, obviously to distract so you won't notice how bad the complex really is. And the manager has a real attitude. She's hardly around and when she is there, she's NOT friendly. If I had to run that place, I'd hide from the tenants too. Another thing that bothered me was that I'd always see nails and screws in the parking lot. I think the nails were falling off the roof of the carport and a lot of tenants would be working on their cars and would leave nails, screws, soda cans, and other trash all over the place. I eventually got a giant screw stuck in my tire and had to change it right there. I complained to the staff, but saw no improvement. The apartments themselves are spacious, but nothing special. There's not enough natural sunlight, the carpets are bad enough where you don't want to walk around barefoot, and the tiles in the shower look they're ready to fall off. Do yourself a big favor and stay away from Aspen Lodge.
