Parking:
The parking space is adaquate, although there are a lot of cars that seem to either be abandoned or are constantly being worked on. It's not uncommon to see cars propped up on cinderblocks with pools of oil or gasoline dripping out of them. Some areas have covered carports, some do not. The car ports are of questionable structural integrity.

Noise:
Noise is a huge problem because the walls are EXTREMELY thin, and every wall is a common wall with the apt above/below you. You can clearly hear every word that is being said inside an apartment if you are standing in the hallway outside. I know EXACTLY what room of the apt my upstairs neighbor is in, since all the floors crackle very auditably whenever someone walks.

Grounds:
The grounds are bland and uninspiring. Very little work is done to them.

Safety:
Safety level is acceptable.

Construction:
These apartments are the worst constructed apartments i've ever had the displeasure of renting. The walls are paper thin, all the glass is single payne and VERY thin. All the weatherstripping is either worn and falling apart, or completely missing. During the winter, you can feel a steady breeze coming from every window in the apartment. As a result, the heater is always running and bills are extremely high. Oh and did I mention the one inch gap under my front door'

Maintenance:
Maintenance is pretty horrible. I've lost track with how many times i've asked them, in person, to please replace my missing window screens and weather stripping. I've asked probably close to 15 times, and they completely ignore me, while saying they will get RIGHT ON TOP OF IT. Every single time, and yet they never fix it. It seems like if it's a major maintenance issue, like your cieling starting to cave (which happened), it takes them several months to fix after MANY calls and threats of withholding rent. If it's a 'minor' maintenance problem such as the weatherstripping or screen issues, they NEVER fix it. Ever. My furnace door is completely off the hinges and hangs there barely. Yet another thing i've told them on MANY occasions to fix and they completely ignore me. Oh and there is a friggin 1 inch gap under my front door. you can fit your hand under my front door!!!

The Staff
They used to be completely incompetant. Now they are only mostly incompetant.

I am the writer of the shenanigans review...I can see bitterness in your writing, and rightfully so! I'm still bitter about a year and a half later! The managers of this place are compulsive liars...like you said, they'll tell you they're going to fix something and it the problems do not get addressed, and if by some miracle they do, it is for damn sure not in a timely matter!
