I, along with the other 73.2% of the tenants whom have lived or do currently live at Autumn Park Apartments, would not recommend this place to anyone. I only leased from Autumn Park Apartments for three months, and I am very thankful for that. During my tenure with Autumn Park my air conditioning ceased to work three times, my plumbing leaked, and I was unfairly and unethically billed. In regards to the maintenance issues, it took Autumn Park one and a half weeks to fix my air conditioning the first time, and more than four days the other two times, two months to fix my plumbing issues, and the apartment was filthy when I moved in. In regards to their billing practices, I was billed for more than my legally binding lease contract once, did not receive their claimed ??student?? discount, and I was charged a higher monthly rate than most tenants. Nearly all of my neighbors spoke English as a second language at best, with Spanish being first, and many of them felt it okay to work on their cars all day long and drink in the parking lot at night. Do not let the overzealous 28% approval rating of this place fool you; I'll almost guarantee whomever is posting this garbage is or was not a resident. I have filed a formal complaint with both the Better Business Bureau of Kansas City and the Attorney General of Kansas and the management just doesn??t care. Nothing you as a tenant promise to do, attempts to do, or actually does do will make the management or maintenance here at Autumn Park care. Autumn Park Apartments is a money driven complex that could care less about the living conditions or personal wellbeing of their tenants. With all of this having been said, if you are looking for a cheap place to live where English is a second language, the management and maintenance is terrible at best, the lease contract sites the containment of asbestos containing materials, and you are required to sign a lead paint waiver Autumn Park Apartments just might be a great place to come home to for you.
