We moved into an apartment with a broken a/c unit in June 2009. It was fixed that night but broke again the next day. They were able to get it to function the following morning, promising to replace the a/c unit but it was never replaced. It took three weeks to get an exterminator out for a mouse we saw. We never caught the mouse and have yet to see the exterminator dispite requests. We have more bugs, spiders and especially crickets than any other place I've lived. It is inexpensive as far as rent goes but beware of how they bill you. We were charged for late fees that were not ours and there has been other confusion over our bill. Also the apartment was filthy when we moved in. I found mouse poop that had been painted over as well as mouse poop that was fresh when we moved in.
In short:
You get what you pay for. Our move in special was spectacular. If you have a maintance issue regarding broken a/c unit, broken hot water heater, or ridiculously low water pressure, maintance will get if fixed promply. If you have a crappy dishwasher that can even clean milk out of a bowl, you will be told to try liquid soap and to toss in a bowl of hot water before you start the dish washer. If you have a mouse, bugs, cricket, or spider problem, you will get next to no help.
I would not recommend the Autumn Park Apartments. I have been very unhappy with them.

They are not sorry, otherwise they would have fixed your problems by now. I lived there and couldn't move out fast enough. The only way I ever got them to finally call me back or fix a problem was to threaten to call Better Business Bureau. I never made good on the promise but I should have!
